Foyers Lodge was originally built in the 1800s and is now lovingly restores as a boutique hotel. It is nestled on the picturesque shores of Loch Ness in Scotland.
The lodge and the surrounding town of Foyers are famed for the ‘Fall of Foyers’ – a waterfall so beautiful that it has inspired many artists and writers, including Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burn.
The new brand identity is inspired by a poem from Burns. He wrote the beloved poem ‘Lines On The Fall Of Foyers Near Loch-Ness.’ It vividly depicts the allure and power of the waterfall and became intrinsically linked to the town and the lodge itself.
The creative approach embraces the stunning beauty of its surroundings whilst capturing the creative energy. The chosen colours reflect the four seasonal changes in the nature of Loch Ness while the expression of brush strokes symbolise human footprints in the nature.
A restrained system of deep peat green and heather red pairs with a hand-brushed stroke—our nod to Loch Ness waters and the wild energy in Burns’ verse. On the welcome card and envelopes, the mark lands like a quiet gesture: minimal typography, generous negative space, and uncoated stocks that feel warm in the hand. The result is understated luxury with a strong sense of place—elegant, memorable, and distinctly Foyers Lodge.
